How Long Does It Take to Get Your Teeth Bonded?

Cosmetic bonding is typically used to repair cosmetic tooth imperfections for a more aesthetically pleasing look. An alternative to porcelain veneers, bonding can repair cracks, chips, spaces between teeth, discoloration, worn teeth, and even mild tooth misalignment. Very little tooth preparation is required to perform the procedure, and the shade of the composite resin used for the bonding can be precisely matched to surrounding teeth for a natural look.

Once the affected tooth is prepared, Dr. Thomas J. Strub will apply composite resin to the tooth and begin shaping the material to conceal and correct the imperfection. The bonding material is then polished to match the shine of your natural smile. Depending upon the severity of the tooth imperfection, the bonding procedure can take between 30 to 60 minutes for each tooth. Afterward, you can enjoy the benefits of a newly rejuvenated smile.
