I am truly blessed to be able to work every day with an amazingly talented group of individuals. Each one is a long time team member in our office with many years of experience providing quality care to our friends. They are all exceptionally trained and love making a difference in our patient’s lives. They truly are there to serve you.
Our friendly business and administrative team makes you feel like family when you call us on the phone. They also handle scheduling for all your dental care in a timely manner that is efficient and effective for you. They are experts in dealing with dental insurance plans and flexible spending accounts. They will make sure your claims are filed in a manner that will maximize your overall benefits. They will be happy to address your financial concerns and answer any questions you have about the financing options that are available to you. Lastly, they will look forward to finding the answers to any treatment questions that you might have.
Our experienced clinical team will guide you thru your dental appointments, answering any questions that you may have about your care. They are very skilled at insuring that you have a comfortable experience in our office. Their attention to detail will help your dental visits run smoothly and “on schedule”. Your well-being is their highest priority. They pay very close attention to infection control in our office to maintain your safety and protection.
Karen Ehmen – Business Administrator
Karen has been with our office for 9 years making our patients feel welcome and appreciated in the dental practice. She is one of the two smiling faces you have encountered over the phone or at our front desk. She is married to Rick and has two sons, Rhett and Reid. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Denise Gerst – Business Administrator
Denise is the other smiling face that you have encountered over the phone or at our front desk. She is a big part of making your experience in our office a pleasant one. She is married to Troy and has two children, Emily and Sam. She likes to spend her time with her family and following her children’s activities.
Judy Klepfer – Registered Dental Hygienist
Judy graduated from the University of Iowa in 1965 and has been practicing dental hygiene for 46 years. She has been with this practice for 40 years. She has done dental mission work locally and in Panama and Honduras with Dr. Strub. In her free time she enjoys traveling, playing golf, playing bridge, biking and spending time with her 7 grandchildren.
Lisa Scharff – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years and has been with our office for 13 years. She grew up in Cedar Falls where she met her husband, Alton. They have two children, Mason and Brooklyn. She enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends.
Judy Poland – Registered Dental Hygienist
Judy started her dental career in the dental profession as a dental assistant for 10 years. She then went back to Hygiene school. She has been with our office since graduating from dental hygiene school 7 years ago. She has done dental mission work locally and in Honduras with Dr. Strub. She loves to travel with her husband Mike.
Amanda King – Registered Dental Assistant
Amanda has been a dental assistant for 5 years and has been with our office for over 1 year now. She has 2 boys, Trystin and Camden. She loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys crafting and playing sports.
Lisa Brooks – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been practicing dental hygiene for 6 years and has been with our office for the last 2 years. She has been educating children and adults for over 15 years on a variety of topics including academic, business, and health related subjects. While at home, Lisa spends time with her husband John and their 4-year-old twins, Gina and Jack. She enjoys the Cedar Valley trails, cooking and traveling.
Linda Ott – Registered & Certified Dental Assistant
Linda has been a dental assistant for 27 years and has been with our office for 16 years. She and her husband Wayne have 2 children, Erin and Nate. In Linda’s spare time she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, shopping, and spending time with her family.
